 Purple Porch Light “The Collaborative Commission on Domestic Violence (CCDV) is asking residents to participate in a county-wide campaign as part of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Purple Porch SA initiative invites the public to shine a light on domestic violence by turning their porch lights purple this October to mark Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The public can voice their support for healthy relationships by turning their porch purple, either with a purple lightbulb, adding a purple wreath or purple décor to their entryway, snap a photo of their decorated doorway and post it on social media using #PurplePorchSA.” (More information coming soon)

October 1st, 10th Annual Purple Run   Join our team (The S.A.V.E. Women’s Foundation)!

October 3rd, Day of Unity A Time of Reflection   Now recognized on the first Monday in October, celebrates the origin of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This is a perfect time to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going in the movement to end intimate partner violence.

October 20th, Wear Purple Thursday  Everyone is encouraged to wear all things purple as a symbol of peace, courage, survival, honor, and personal dedication to domestic violence awareness.

 We are a 100% volunteer led 501(c)3 non-profit designated by the IRS.

We are always looking for monthly/annual sponsors to enable us to carry out our mission. Donations are used for non-profit operations to include providing a confidential hotline, virtual technology, compliance, case management, victim assistance and resources, Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Resiliency Coaching services, and victim advocacy.

Donations will help us continue to provide these services free of charge to victims and survivors. Donations can be made on our website through PayPal or by clicking at button below. A thank you letter will be provided for all donations.
